I had a bad lower back problem and this was affecting my left leg with

constant pain, tightness, and lack of feeling. My wife in her wisdom

said l should look to do some exercise to lose some weight and hopefully

help out my back. Reluctantly l came to Boyd’s Gym 1 night after work

and met with Ben and we discussed my problems. His positive manner and

lack of (bullshit) as he said: “ do the program and you will get

results”! l also looked around the gym and the vibe was not like gyms l

had tried out before and this also helped me make a decision that has

changed my life big time.


I was hesitant to come to Boyd's fitness as I had a bad experience with Previous gym environments. I hated the testosterone “look at me” and constant wait for equipment as everyone seemed to be Waiting for some apparatus. Also, staff, a lot of the time didn’t care less about helping out to busy looking at themselves.

You learn to put Faith in the trainer as they tailor a program suited to

your physical capabilities and your sessions are well organized with

small class numbers.

A lot of focus is centered around technique as this is a cornerstone of getting results.(

how many of us just go and do weights without correct technique)? Also,

you record your workout data and this is revised weekly with your

trainer.

The things I like most about Boyd's fitness is the

Fantastic environment with like-minded people. In a short 12 month

period l have made some beautiful supportive friends who have all

contributed to helping me get results. To call it a fitness center is

incorrect as it’s not all weights and leotards it’s about you being real

with wanting change .physically, mentally dietary and socially and the

best part is it’s all achievable here.

I have noticed since training at Boyds Fitness I have

-Lost weight ( approx 16kg)

-Lower blood pressure.

-No leg or back pain.

Don’t think you are too old or to fat or to thin to do

that stuff. Come along and at least talk to people about the changes

“You” want in your life as in most cases it is achievable .
